It's been a while since i posted. So here goes.

I'm starting to panic already, there's only like 100++ days to Os. So i decided to study my bum off, so i won't post much, and i won't go online so often. GO ME. i will persevere!!

This week's been pretty uneventful. I can't believe i started sleeping at 11pm for weekdays. SHOCKING. haha, usually i sleep at 12am. But yeah, it's actually good. I STAY AWAKE IN CLASS :O other then after recess lah, BUT THAT'S SOMETHING ELSE (:

Went out to study with Dawn, Shimin, Arielle and Yunzhu the other day. Hahaha, poor shimin didn't get a lemon in her lemon tea. So she started MAKING meesiam in the cup to exact revenge on the drink stall. Red chilli sauce, Prawns from my hokkien mee, Noodles, lime and who knows what (:

Yesterday i had class bbq. Awww, jayden is so cute! haha, so quiet though. Absolutely adorable. Practically oozes cuteness. The whole class was just gushing over him. he's going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up!!

Screamed, Sang, Danced, Talked, Fooled around. Class BBQ was fun (: Camwhored. HAHA, we were trying to do the Michael Jackson music video Thriller since the moon was so bright! :D

Me and chuying started mimicking Lady Vancome. CHAAAA you know what? UH UH!

I can't believe i'm sec 4 and leaving soon. Half a year left. Sigh, i don't want to leave ):

It feels terribly surreal.

Haha, it feels like i'm going to go for band again.

Yesterday was my last band practice. Thank you everyone for all the time and everything! I'll miss my time in band! Every single member made band special and many of my favourite memories were made in Band. I want to thank my section! I love you sexy clarinettists! To Jingyun, Eliza, Baohong, Fatin, Valerie, you guys were great! It's been fun leading the section together! To my juniors, Kimberly, Natalie, Cherie Chia, Yan Ru, Averil, Serena, Sarah, Joy, Christabelle, Xinhui, Vanessa, thank you all too! I've been really strict with you all at times. But i do hope that you guys will carry on and continue to excel! Bring the section to greater heights! To my 14 sec ones, please practice hard and make the seniors proud!

To my senior committee members, thanks for everything! we did it! and now we can happily step down! HAHA, and watch the new comm go through what we did! Thank you for all your support! I couldn't have done it without you!

Haha, after that band prac all the seniors went mad! we played all the instruments! Omg, i can play brass instruments!! I can play the trumpet, tuba! Horn i can't pitch at all. all the same note. Tharaani's trombone stinks really bad -.- Tuba ironically i can play the highest notes only. The low notes are suppose to be easier T.T i think it's cause i'm used to high notes from playing the clarinet. and i'm too short, i can barely reach the mouthpiece with ease T.T I can play the trumpet!!! I can't double-tongue though. Shimin damn pro! she first time play and she can blast on all the instruments! her lungs are damn power!! And she can double-tongue just like that!!

so we played and had loads of fun :D then went for lunch with dawn and shimin (:

Today was Mr Leonard Tan's last visit to us ): Sigh, so sad!

I can't believe he's leaving AGAIN ):

Thank you for everything mr tan! He's lovely lame jokes were so cuteeee! I absolutely adore them! PORTato and POTARSSIUM! Sigh, so sad ): He's leaving again!!!

Hope he likes the joke book we gave him! heehee (:

Yesterday, went for the ACJC tune-in. And i'm more or less sure that i won't join JC band. We went there and sight-read. DISASTROUS. I couldn't play ): I should have listened to my tutor and practiced my chromatics! ohwell. And, cause of everyone playing around me. For the first time in a long time, I COULDN'T HEAR MYSELF AT ALL. REALLY. Unless i played wrong notes lah, then got the waves. BEATS! haha, but yeah, couldn't really hear myself T.T

Quite fun lah, but then... felt quite miserable cause i couldn't play. My sight-reading really sucks! Haha, ohwell. Two hours also a bit pathetic. Went outside to their canteen and took pictures. I think we disturbed a few people studying. sorry!

Gah. so embarrassing i tell you. NO I DON'T WANT TO TELL YOU HAHA. I shy. :D Basically, next time the essay comes out on 'An embarrassing experience', i'll definitely have something to write about.

Anyway, went on to bishan to eat banmian!! Then we went to buy mr tan's gift! HAHAHA, i don't know what was wrong with me, i just couldn't stop laughing! The jokes in the jokebooks were NOT funny, but i just kept laughing!

Yesterday, had Band! Mr Leonard Tan came to conduct us! To all those noobs who were studying their Os, awww, POOR THING HAHA. AWW poor clare! HAHAHA :D

HAHAHA, okay he was very funny and all! Really missed him a lot. It was so nice to have him conduct us again. Loved his jokes and all. But i felt so sad when i saw him looked so sad when he was talking about how he missed his students ): damn.

Okay fooled around after Band practices, playing Eagle's Bend and Finale. I hate finale. Love PONYO and Dream City!!

Okay, went home and promptly fell asleep after lunch. Woke up only at like 6 plus. My dad was raving about how i was going to be late for my Grandpa's dinner and all. So i showered really quickly. Styled my hair in the car. And arrived looking presentable :D

Celebrated my grandpa's 77th birthday! Okay it was quite okay. Was practically sms-ing throughout to keep myself entertained. Haha, omg, love story/viva la vida is nice! I looked so dumb outside the restaurant listening on the phone. Quintus, you suck. chop off your fingers. :D My cousin kept stepping on my foot -.- so unfair! he's like almost near my height now!!! ): why do little kids grow so fast! HAHAHA, my baby cousin so cute! she likes ponyo too!

Okay took some photos, ate till i was about to burst. Then i went home. Hahaha, went home and rolled around on my bed as i listened to more piano. AH, one summer's day brought tears to my eyes ): who's stupid phone ran out of batt huhh!

Went off to lala land. Slept till 11pm :D Woke up, and did my statement of experience. Went digging around for stuff. AND GUESS WHAT. I FOUND MY PIANO GRADE ONE CERTIFICATE HAHAHA!

Grade one not bad heh! :D

I even found my kindergarten comments! They all said i'm conscientious and quiet :D SO IT MUST BE TRUE. EVEN TO THIS DATE!

MR TAN is back!

Haha, had band practice today and Mr Leonard Tan is back. It was really really really nice to see him again. Miss him a lot! It seems so surreal to see him, as though he's not real. Hahaha, i think it's as though he isn't really here. In a flash, he'll be back in the US again. He said our band room smelt the same :D

He said something along those lines! HAHA, we were doing the Nobody Nobody but you thing to mr tan! heehee :D Then we also took loads of pictures, and we chit-chatted for quite a while. He seemed quite jet-lagged to me :D

Okay then went home, and went to watch Angels & Demons. Well, it was better than i expected, cause i expected something really lousy from the 2.5 stars rating. It was actually quite thrilling and nice, but the book was so much better! How could they take out so many important parts!!! Like how the pope in the story was the real father! And the burning alive part and then parachuting down part! i mean yes a fire and parachuting was present, but they twisted it! The effects was nice though, i must say. The cardinal burning in the fire was so sad though ):

Then rushed down to watch VJC's majestia XXIV! Saw so many people! Went with our band people and saw the IJ Band Alumni! Cecilia (My long lost sister), Roslyn, Paula, Francesca, Alyssa Tan & Charmaine! also saw some NCO people. But other than that, i don't think i saw anyone else... except... MR TAN!

HAHA, we were joking around with Mr Tan before the concert! awwww, he also play along with me when i was playing around! HAHAHA, me and mr tan got secret heehee!

The concert was great. VJC was fabulous! But i was so sleepy i fell asleep during their SYF piece (too cheem for me to understand) and Victoria (too soothing). The first piece was quite bleah though. It was weird, i mean like the band didn't seem very good at that piece. The band sounds so different though, It's less rich now. It used to be very chocolaty, like brownie or something. Now it's like low-quality Kit Kat. I mean there were instances where the richness was there, but sometimes i couldn't hear it. The band responded well! I love Arioso by James Barnes! The band played really well under Mr Leonard Tan & Dr Goh & the japanese conductor.

Their alumni band's clarinettist is damn good!!! the notes were pearly and perfect! One of the best clarinets i've heard in a long while!

The crowd was very rowdy though. And this irritating girl kept yelling and yelling some people's names excessively. COULDN'T STAND IT!

But yeah, VJC band seems to have a very nice culture. I feel like going to VJC and join their band now!

IJ Fiesta!

It was today! the big day finally came!

Okay i slept really late the day before cos i came home late from blowing balloons and fooling around in school :D stupid gastric also ): But anyway was so zombie-ish this morning but later i 'woke up'.

Ms Jo Teo's talk on IJ was really meaningful to me. It really was enlightening to know more about the IJ history. The culture is so rich. Just like Chocolate.

Went back to class to make some lantern structure hoolabaloo. Then once that was done, what did we do! we... CAM-WHORE! Heehee (: Fun eh! Grace tan, i'm almost the same height as you okay! it's your fringe lah, that's why you seem taller. SEEM. But Chuying seriously makes me feel so short ): She's the only one other than Mr Leonard Tan and Dawn that actually makes me feel short when i take photo!

Okay so after that went for my shift to sell IJ Items. Did it for 2 hours. No wind. Hot. Perspired like mad! Then went on for an hour at the Flea Market. IN THE SUN. Okay hot hot hot, then we shifted to the shade! But yeah, 3 hours of shifts can kill a person!!

Went to the canteen for some shade after that. Cam-whored a little more, then went to eat :D pathetically expensive!! Then later went to the gallery steps and listened to the band and talk to JIJI and shimin and the DJs. Hahaha, the band was quite okay lah, but the lead vocals... I CAN'T HEAR IT?! Yeah maxine was good on the drums man!

Was frying my bum in the sun. Sitting around. Screaming our heads off. Taking more photos. Eating more. Drinking more Bandung and stuff.

Then later... we had our shift at the food stall. No one wanted to buy our vegetarian food!!! So went around begging and shouting for people to buy! Managed to sell 2 plates of spaghetti and 5 soon kueh through this method! :D Not bad at all! Heehee, thank you christabelle and ruth and some other people for buying! HAHAHA, some people are damn funny.

"we give you discount! It's actually 3 dollars for 3 pieces of bread and a bowl of curry. We give you 6 dollars for 6 pieces and a bowl of curry!!"

So in total, i did 4 hours of shifts. Can DIE. heehee, me, chu, grace and ruiann got to take photos with the Gingerbread man! HAHAHA, all of us were like, awwww, you so cute you so cute! and it was totally silent. And we kept saying so cute! Who's inside ah?

Then this voice said, Suzanne Tan.

HAHAHA, i mean no offence to her, Just that it scared us! HAHAHA, just unexpected, cos i thought it was like Rachel or something.

With all the fun, comes the worst part. The Clean-up. Tiring like mad. Carry tables up and down. Chairs left and right. Perspire perspire. For like one hour. The celebration was fun though! champagne!

Now my legs are sore, aching. Brain frazzled. Skin sunburnt. But i left with fond memories. I will definitely miss IJ when i leave. It's like leaving a home.

A thought struck me. When you look at the sky, just how far are you looking at? What are you looking at?

The world is not like a glass ball. So where's the limit? Where's the boundary of the skies? Is there a boundary of the skies? Why can't the universe be part of the world if there is no clear-cut boundary?

Today was a really strange day. Started the day with a big bang in the hall with secrets that cannot be told. Really sad though. I started tearing a little when they were talking. Okay maybe i'm just emotionally unstable cause the TIME of the month is nearing. Hormones are weird. Which hormone is it? Progesterone right! Or is oestrogen? HAHAHA, forgot all my biology already ): die ):

Okay, during recess, took out the cake and sang a happy birthday song! okay yunzhu said the surprise was a total failure ): she say she saw me and chu leave and she knew something was up ): And she said i almost tripped while holding the cake. THANKS ):

Haha, but anyway hope you like the gift zhuzhu! Try your best to stay youthful huh! I'm the youngest now! :D Wait for me to turn 16 then we can all go watch a NC16 movie!

Okay got back the rest of my papers. Okay certain subjects suck to the core, but i was pleasantly surprised for certain subjects that i have no confidence at all. But yeah, results deproved a lot. My L1R5 is so much higher than last year. I guess it's good in some way. I sort of feel motivated to study. I actually feel like studying now. HAHA, but i shall rest a bit. Maybe start revising my sec 3 foundation next week or something. At least after IJ Fiesta!

Okay today after school, went to watch Christabelle and Junyao sing with my darling dawn. Took the bus, then went into the school and went to find a toilet to pee :D Okay then since Junyao and belle and her friends had walked off without us when we went to e toilet, we wandered around trying to find the place. So we walked walked, and we heard a familiar sound, the trumpet. Okay so we saw Quintus practicing, so we went to ask for directions. I tell you ah, those stupid little boys playing the ball keeping kicking here and there. AIM OKAY AIM PROPERLY LAH. Almost hit me and dawn -.- Okay so got directions, went into the music studio. It was too crowded, felt claustrophobic and immediately walked out. AND i went to play e piano :D Haha, cause my piano isn't in C major, i love practicing on a proper piano which is in tune. Okay played a little of Yiruma's River Flows in You with my jumping hand ): My hand is too small, have to jump from one key to another. Have to rely on the pedal to sustain the note, Pathetic short fingers. Looks dumb ): sounds like staccatos without the pedal. I LOVE PEDALS HAHA

Okay then went on to watch e audition. Okay it was pathetically short -.- for the amount of time we took to get there, it was over in what? one minute? Okay it was an INTERESTING performance. Very unexpected. Anyway then went to Bishan and ate subway with dawn! :D

Then got Noah's Ark from belle, and then was at the bus stop when i saw....

Okay went to ecp today! Had tuition in the morning, then rushed down to toa payoh. Okay i was late, but not too bad lah, A LITTLE late only! :D okay took the bus 31! okay talked a whole lot of crap on the bus! AND. WE OVERSHOT TO CHANGI! ): my fault ): i forgot how to go!! HAHAHA, whoopsie daisy. SO we ended up taking 1 hr 40 minutes to get there :D HAHAHA OUR MONSTER WALK: I WANT A MAN I WANT A MAN HAHAHAHA

haha, okay got there, rented bikes, cycled like mad trying to get a nice spot to play on e beach. End up the beach was all rocky and disgusting. And there was some bee attracted to chuchu! hahaha, no matter where she went it followed her :D so we left, and went to eat!! i was famished from like 1.5 hrs of biking and no breakfast ):

then of course, my favourite part, ARCADE! I NEVER KNEW I LIKE ARCADE SO MUCH UNTIL TODAY HAHA. DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION! hahaha, okay i was stomping so hard while screaming my bloody head off! but then it was ecp so it was quite empty so good! HAHAHA, me and chuying screamed so hard the guy in charge came over T.T SHIMIN AND YUNZHU ARE SO FREAKING GOOD -.-

okay play play until i think i probably lost like one kilo. Then went off to bishan cause yunzhu wanted to go Cotton On. ATE BANMIAN WHOO!

Then later when i was waiting for my dad to pick me up, saw Jin Sheng. I was just sitting there listening to my ipod when i heard someone calling me. Turned around, saw this tall guy in Cat High uniform, and i was just thinking, Who is that? I HAD NO IDEA WHO. haha, at first i thought it was some clarinettist or smth. So i was like, who are you? He said, Yunzhu's friend, and i just went, UHHHH. UHHH. UHHHH. HAHAHA, i felt quite bad. Then he said he was jin sheng -.- I SWEAR MY MEMORY IS DAMN BAD. his memory is so good! how can he remember who i am after so long!!!??!

i am so tired and exhausted and sunburnt! why am i the only one sunburnt! and i was only under the sun for max 2 hrs. My sister said i was pathetic to be sunburnt for such a short time in the sun ):

My msn is a pregnant woman. 6 months down the road ): it's so cranky! !#$%$@^!

Sigh, i'm having msn withdrawal symptoms! After so many days of burning midnight oil and studying so hard, finally i can use... AND IT DOES THIS TO ME!

Okay finally got through msn, using the web browser one ): sigh.

Haha, ohwell, the SYF comment sheet is hereee! hahaha, one judge said that the woodwinds had high notes! whee! though i thought the contrary, awww, so sweet! hahaha, so nice of whoever it was! Supposedly we have an orchestral sound or something, and we had many many pluses for musicality! yay!

Okay still got physics paper on tuesday. seeing i screwed up most of my subjects, i sort of gave up on it! biology paper was messed up. i thought it was easy, and then later i realised i messed up many questions! the english of the paper seriously ah -.-

And i studied mitosis and meiosis 1 and 2 and it hardly came out -.- stupid nervous reaction and hormonal reaction came out! i couldn't think of the two similarities!

From my days of studying like a mad cow, i decided. I wish humans and plants were sterile. Then i wouldn't have to learn so much ): i slept so late for bio and it didn't come out ): slept late for chem and sec 3 topics chem out. slept late for geography for Development, end up i did the essay qn on Food which i studied in the morning during temperature taking. Slept late for Literature, end up some funny question came out. How the minor characters in the book brought out the main themes of the stories and how we get to learn more about society through it. and also what is their role in the book. AH. three freaking parts squeezed into one. great. Sigh.

hahaha, dawn is very noisy during exams though -.- bang and bang and bang the calculator, and even dropped it on the floor. even the teacher thought she was mad or smth and walked over -.- HAHAHA, grace was like, today no dawn very quiet! hahaha, aww dawn!

i have hazy corneas.

hahaha, okay i went Paris Miki, and the optometrist said that i have dry eyes! tear production level is low ): and that i was very tired. she said my corneas were hazy! cos the cells in the eyes were swelling due to water retention! hahaha, she was quite interesting, like some walking encyclopedia on contacts :D she even told me how the different type of contacts give moisture differently. like how Dailies is with every blink moisture is given out, Acuvue is the moisture is 'sandwiched' between the lens or smth, and the one i'm using is thinner or smth. no idea :D

BUT ANYWAY, i got a free cake for buying 4 boxes! WHOO, can redeem! until feb next year :D

She even told me about how the contacts must move in your eye or smth. And how like the new contacts move more, so that means that there are more chances for your eye to breathe of something. Sticky contacts!

Ah, exams are freaking screwed up. Got the format for english wrong due to to pure nervousness. Chinese paper was the hardest i've ever done! even O levels was easier ): SS was seriously horrible. Sigh, i think i will fail!

I have swine flu phobia. I'm really getting quite scared. Imagine if i get it! And my mum might be going to the US. So scary! my dad was still planning to go visit my sister, i think he has to postpone it now. Of all years, it must be this year when i'm doing my O levels -.- haha, i'm hoping they stop school though :D can study at home. Swine flu is so scary. What if i die. hahahaha, i know i'm paranoid. Even my sister said that talking to me makes her depressed and makes her think she's going to die. hahaha, i feel like i'm nearing the end! i'm so pessimistic. HAHA, I KNOW LAH, YOU WILL MISS ME RIGHT. YEAH. HAHAHA, ESP MY 3 HUBBIES: ELIZA, MANWAH AND AVERIL!

haha, it's quite scary eh! level 5! the second highest. And to think IJ has already stopped assembly. The drastic moves are starting to make me panic. I mean, i don't really remember SARS and plus i was in Beijing at that time so i don't know how it was like here. I mean in Beijing, i was nearer to the epicentre, but somehow, i felt oddly safe. But with the swine flu, i somehow feel like there's no escape from it. It's like the apocalyspe. My sister needs to stop scaring me.

Okay, on a positive note, maybe i can skip my english tuition. My new english tutor is pyschotic T.T she's so scary and cranky! One moment she's smiling and the next she's berating me! i told her i want to learn how to write argumentative and expository cos i really don't know how to, and she started this long speech about how i won't use it for Os and how i should focus on my narrative instead for Os. And she seems to have a problem with my dad sending me to tuition?! and it's the first lesson -.- she was like, you should come urself, don't let your dad send you! Your dad spoils you! You should learn to take the bus, learn to be independent! yadda yadda, it was the first lesson, of course i would ask my dad to send me if not what if i get lost -.- my sense of direction is so poor! She's so scary.

Then I brought my english stuff that Miss Teo does, innocently thinking i could provide some resources. I didn't even think beyond that. However she looked deep into my actions and misunderstood me. She started to accuse and berate me -.- she was like, "You want to do it here so you make all the mistakes now, and then when you go to school and do it again you'll get all the right answers? Why do you want to give yourself a false impression that you're good? Why? I want you to make mistakes here, and make mistakes in the classroom and do it right for Os... YADDA YADDA" and i was so stunned i was just like, err okay...

She is freaky. She enjoys glaring/staring at me over her spectacles! She scares me ):

At first i said i wanted help on my essays. Then 15 minutes later i said i wanted to do work on comprehensions instead. Cos the exam was tomorrow and i felt that there wasn't much that can be done to salvage my essays in one day. So she was like, "EH GIRL, do you know what you want a not! 15 minutes ago you want... YADDA YADD" only after i explained to her my logic, then she stopped nagging -.- i swear she's the scariest teacher i've ever had. I don't mind a fierce and strict teacher, but she is just plain weird!!!

She kept saying how i don't need tuition and how my english is good. yeah right -.-

imagine this.

Suddenly eliza and baohong come running past me, PUSHING ME OUT OF THE WAY IN THE PROCESS, and suddenly they shout and point like mad at the sky, and then they shut their eyes tightly and clasp their hands. And when i went to see what madness they were up to again, and i saw an aeroplane.

Yes. an aeroplane. Instead of wishing on shooting stars, they wish on aeroplanes. And baohong even told me that that plane was the 100th aeroplane.

Sometimes i worry for them. HAHAHA

Today was quite okay i guess. Boring lessons. Got scolded for making too much noise. whoops.

AH, Tang Quartet came today! the sexy violins! AH. i can melt. They were really good! the chords were perfectly in tune and the countermelody and holding notes came in really nicely. hahaha, while listening, i listened out for the cello and viola line. so pretty :D

While watching, i was reminded about how i broke a cello before. Was talking with friends. In my old school, then somehow someone fell, and alas! domino effect! we fell on top of each other and ultimately... on the cello! It kinda smashed into many pieces. Terrible right!

HAHA, had a nice chat with the sec 4 clarinets! i'll miss the section when i leave ): damn. I'll miss talking talking and talking!

Guess what?

I went jogging in the morning! i managed to wake up (: i'm so proud of myself! haha, i woke up at 6.30am. MIND YOU A.M. EH :D haha, okay then brush teeth blahblah, and i went jogging! jogging in the morning is very nice (: especially cooling, and since i'm so sleepy, it's easier to get myself out of the house and walk towards to the park.

i ran 3.6 km! HAHA, okay i ran 2.8km consecutively, then walked one round and then ran another 2 rounds. so in all, i ran 3.6 km and walked+ran 4 km (:

Because i woke up so early, i fell asleep after showering. the bed was just too comfortable. i could hear it calling my name >.<

went out, bought presents.

One of the best books i've read, and still in the midst of finishing (almost done! :D) is The Child Called 'It' by Dave Peltzer. About child abuse. It's really captivating and very well written. It made me cry when i first read it ): how could a mother treat her son so badly! she made him eat shit (yeah, REAL poop), made him drink a mixture of ammonia and clorox(i think it was clorox), made him put his arms in that mixture until he had no skin on his arms. His mother even stabbed him once, and even tried to strangle him. Once, she even starved him for 10 days and another time she made him eat his vomit. The worst thing is she didn't even acknowledge him as her son. She called him 'The Boy' and when that became too personal, she called him 'It'. It's so sad ): what made me cry was that the whole family knew about it, but no one did anything about it. He even drank the ammonia solution in front of the dad, but the dad didn't do anything. His dad watched him eat the regurgitated food without a word. Another thing that made me cry was the fact that despite how his mother treated him, he still strove to please her, to make her proud of him. He wanted to be acknowledged by her, and he still forgave her ):

I love e holiday! okay, this is such a brief break it doesn't qualify as one but still. i love it!

haha, yesterday, good friday, i went out with my sister and maid to... UNIQLO. the clothes and jeans are lovely! the jeans, THE WHOLE SHELF OF IT, are veryvery comfortable! HAHAHA, i bought 2 :D okay what's wrong with me! do i have a a fetish for jeans?! anyway e shirts are very adorable too :D this was the first time, i actually had to QUEUE up to get into a store. The line to the fitting room was super long as well. Thank goodness we went early, when we left, the queue to get into the short had doubled!

Today, is a nice wet day. I love rainy days. Nice and cooling. Okay it was bloody hot in the morning but it rained.

Woke up super early, 8am (early to me), and went for an X-ray! i wonder how many cells i killed :D it was quite fun actually. hahaha, after that went home, TRIED to do some emaths, and promptly fell asleep on my ohsosoft bed. HAHA, slept from 11 all the way to 1 :D

Today i finally heard st patricks! and i finally understand why people praise like nuts.

they were good.

VERY good.

Their overture was disappointing. VERY disappointing. The clarinets had a strange interpretation which i didn't like for C. but well, they sounded good too. The trumpets at G was again disappointing. I expected more. It sounded... too safe. haha, like they were being overly cautious. i don't know.

But El Camino Real was FABULOUS. i swear fabulous. It was veryvery good! the horns were just screaming their running notes out. the first clarinet had high notes that sound like pearls! the snare had the perfect roll! and the oboe. Oh the lovely oboe. The oboe had such a perfect toneee! it was like a saxophone/clarinet hybrid thing. It was so lovelyyy! i swear i'm in love with the oboist! it sounded so niceee! It gave me goosebumps!

haha, omg, on the way home it was so embarrassing! KIMMMM! AFTER YOU LEFT TSK. ahh! i felt so guilty after that! OHMAN, okay shall not talk about it! i saw zhenxi and someone else on the way home. all i shall say is i LOVE BUS 53.

Today we had the career seminar! It was quite exciting at some parts :D i liked the one on pilots! vanessa ess! One of Singapore's 6 female pilots is an ex-IJ girl! GO IJ! It sounds really exciting ehhh! But then it made me realised how sexist singapore is! Singapore Airlines still DOES NOT hire female pilots! HOW SEXIST IS THAT! and we claim to be an advanced country! huh!

The talk by the girl from RJC inspired me to study hard! i will okay! right after i turn off the computer :D

Medical was a bit boring... I wish she talked more about her experiences instead of how you have to study and blahblah and the qualifications. I mean if i really want to know that i'll just google it -.- or go ask my cousin :D

Photojournalism was really interesting! i love the pictures that she showed us, and seriously, i feel like i can go into that profession. But then again i love taking photos, but i suck at it :D but it sounds so fun and exciting! and you get to take such beautiful shots! perhaps i'll ask grace to teach me how to use e camera properly when she's back :D It was the most interesting talk in my opinion, too bad it was quite short due to constraints in time.

then we had some talk about professionalism in the office blahblah, how you must act when you're in a job blahblah. THE SHEER IRONY I SWEAR. Here's this lady trying to tell us how to behave properly in a job and she's being so rude and using singlish and being so uncouth! I swear, she is the worst speaker i've heard. I mean yeah, you're trying to get your point across, but after all you are here for a seminar, as a speaker!

The other talk was strange. can't rmbr much about the last one. some college counsellor.

Somehow today's seminar makes the future seem to stifling. It's like i have to study forever. gah. And i don't know, it makes everything seem so near all of a sudden. I really must work hard.

It's Friday again! everyone rejoice!

Today was Biology O lvl SPA. i think i messed up big time.

Sigh, i dont know luh ): we were told NOT to pour back solutions into the container to prevent contamination! but then when i asked for more sulphuric acid, i was told that i SHOULD pour back the solution to prevent wastage. SHE SAID SHE COULD PENALISE ME FOR WASTING THE SOLUTION! why can't teachers standardise ): AHHH, i don't want to flunk my SPA ):

I'm back from Band camp :D

You should have seen how i went for band camp. i looked terrible. i had my camp stuff. AND a bass clarinet on my back! and it rained. and i didn't bring an umbrella. smart eh?

Before i went for camp i actually went to go send the bass clarinet for repair. And gdness, the repair place (windworks) is really really isolated. I mean it's ulu. It's very quiet there. I can imagine it being a really unsafe place at night. Yeah, but on the way there it was drizzling. and i smart lah, never bring umbrella again. by the time i left the place, it was POURING. i mean it, it was raining like there was no tmr. So i ran in the rain, had to rush home to pack for camp. So there i was, with a big bulky black thing which resembled a bomb, and looking as though i went swimming. I understand why big instruments don't bring home their instruments to practice. After carrying the bass clarinet for like 2-3 hrs plus, i understand why. It's freaking heavy. >.<

Well anyway my last band camp was fun. :D thank goodness it was only one night. So less stress. It was fun. i loved it :D haha, i completely konked out that night. I slept like a pig. I rolled rolled and rolled until i almost kicked cathy in the head. I rolled like 2 metres away from dawn. strange.

Dirty games were really dirty though. Plain dirty. HAHA, the band so cute :D very fun to bully them. awww! haha, omg, i got my whole shirt full of banana and all sorts of nonsense >.<>

Holidays are here! whoo! everyone rejoice and start jumping now :D

Haha, the holiday has been fruitful so far. haha, went out with my section for SECTION OUTING on monday! YAY. haha, it was really veryvery fun :D

On monday, we went to bishan to go watch a movie. Suspect X! HAHA, at the end part, when the guy was sobbing painfully WE WERE LAUGHING. ahhaahha, our section was laughing while the rest of the theatre was quiet. heh :D i couldn't help but laugh silently :D

Then we just walked around whilst chatting. hahaha, I CAN'T BELIEVE BAOHONG AND ELIZA WENT TO PIERCE THEIR EARS. haha, ohwait. joy also. HAHA, eliza's 2nd hole. i'm going to pierce a second one after my Os :D

EVERYONE shimin has the longest tongue i've ever seen. and it's freaking flexible. HAHA, today for chinese class she came and sat with us :D laoshi said that at first me, ruiann, grace and chu were the 4 beauties. until shimin came then we became the 5 uglies or smth like that! Today was photo taking!

Today was Monday.

I was really tired from doing aSS aSS the night before :D haha!

So i went to school for Majulah and all.

I guess the lack of sleep made my eyes look swollen. And well i wasn't in the best mood. felt really dull and stony.

Everyone was like, xinhui are you okay? you look so sad! are you okay? why are you so sad looking! Valerie thought i cried the whole night. >.<

I guess i was feeling a little upset and frustrated by what happened the night before. i just feel that some people should think before they speak. And some people ought to just speak instead of hiding everything. I realised how some people honestly are not how they seem to be. okay haha, i already kind of suspected it a while back but never knew it was so true. misunderstandings are tiring. okay don't misread this or whatsoever. this is more than one thing.

Anyway, after majulah had CE. whoo! free period! hahaha, funfun. just talktalktalk :D:D

Then after that lessons. PE was just filled with screaming. captain's ball! physics was SO fun. SS was free period :D:D Geog was uh. let's not talk about it :D it was pretty bad. not the first time we pissed off a teacher so badly that she walked out. but yeah.

Then Lit was okay. Higher chinese was okay. WHOO i did okay for my test! yay! i think it's like my ONLY a1 this time ):

AWW, clarinet tutor didn't come today though! so had normal sectionals. First self prac then combined :D i must say a lot of people improved. and overall we did improved. i'm very proud of some people :D they really improved a lot!

OMG. i almost lost my voice. Shouting rhythm, singing dynamics and phrasing whilst getting people to quieten down. it's so hard trying to get everyone's attention when SOME PEOPLE just keep yapping and yapping. Some people don't seem to see the urgency! and just kept talking and laughing so freaking loudly. I'm just one person versus don't know how many of you. So i got quite irritated, frustrated and pissed off. I didn't flare up or anything, but i did ask them to keep quiet in a very frustrated voice. I gave a really black face too. Black like the rainy clouds outside. Some people realised i wasn't very happy and was getting frustrated and stepped up :D they took charge and help shushed :D THANK YOU :D i'm so proud to have people like this in my section! but then. there were people who just kept talking. not paying attention during sectionals. until a fellow section mate asked her to shut up. HAHA, which was quite amusing.

After band the sec 4 clarinettist were just talking. And gah, someone cried. Don't cry okay! wipe those tears off dearie! It's really quite sad to see the difference in the band. It's dead. that special spark is missing. And baohong is right, we haven't been able to feel good after a performance. I haven't felt happy after a performance for the longest time. I miss dona. I miss beaming with joy and pride after playing.

Me and baohong both feel that YES WE WANT THE GOLD MAN but most importantly we want to feel proud of our performance. We want to be able to feel good after playing for syf. We don't want to leave any regrets.

Sigh, some people are just so oblivious though. Not willing to listen out to others. Stubbornly playing the way they want. No matter what the seniors way. It's tiring to repeat it. And it's quite obvious that it's to be done, cos everyone says it and everybody else does it.

Haha, then on the way out of school the whole group of us band girls were just talking. we love talking :D sigh. IT'S SO UNFAIR THAT SOME PEOPLE WORK SO MUCH HARDER THAN OTHERS ): it's so unfair that we put in so much effort but the rest doesn't! haha okay that's what we were complaining about :D

I realised my shoulders are tense 24/7. slightly better after a shower. but it just gets tense after that. Is this a bad sign?

Damn i keep squeaking. i think i'm too tense when i play. I'm tense usually. I tense up even more when i play. ohman. i must RELAX.

Today was a bad day.

It was a big fat flopping fish.

We had an exchange at SJI. one word: horrendous.

We played so badly, so so so badly. worse than normal practices. worse than any exchange or performance in my opinion.

I believe we have more potential that this. But well, it's just not out. And it's quite sad to see how the band has changed so much.

So well, went back. Mr Tan talked to us. Teachers talked to us. Then me and dawn talked to them. It was quite sad. Haha, somehow my voice started wobbling while i talked. and well tears just sort of filled up. BUT I DID NOT CRY. HAHA, I DID NOT OKAY. yeah, just felt really depressed and angry at myself. haha, but i think some people kind of noticed that little wobble. whoops :D

So anyway since we ended early, i stayed back to practice with like HALF THE BAND. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU ALL :D THANK YOU :D so well, i conducted. but i conducted rubbish. hahaha! it's quite fun to manipulate the music into any sort of nonsense you want :D

Then after that me and jingyun worked on our running notes together! WHOO. WE DID A LOT. hahaha, we sound so much neater now.

Okay then anyway i went popular with grace since dawn went to get the cip certs. then after that went home.

hmm, i was pretty moody already and SOMEONE effectively ticked me off. you meanie mo. you @!#@#@$%&$. and so it just made my mood so much darker. Then after that as i was walking home from the bus stop, guess what. IT STARTED TO RAIN. thank gdness it wasn't like some downpour. and BEING SO SMART, i left my umbrella outside the bandrm ): Well, reached home in time but still.

And the rain just made me feel sad. haha, it was nice and cooling though.

Today i realised something. Feeling sad really makes you lose your apetite. hahaha, for the first time in a long time, i didn't feel hungry at all. even though i haven't eaten lunch. but i still ended up eating BUT THE POINT IS. yeah.

It's been a really long and tiring week. I'm glad it's over. Must brace myself for the next one.

Thursday (yesterday) was funny though :D haha, had a free period from english! whoo! haha, we had oral but thank gdness my surname starts with a T so i'm at the back :D didn't get to my turn! Jiyeon was hilarious! i was talking to her and then she didn't listen to me and even gave me this very blank stare -.- hahaha, so i started laughing and th

en she joined in even though she had no idea why i was laughing. so there we were, laughing away and banging at the tables for like 5 minutes :D She even gave me a new name: KIM XI HUI which equals SEAWEED. do you see the logic? no i don't :D

Anyway, then after lessons we had... AMATHS REMEDIAL :D haha, i went with shimin and jiyeon! haha, that jiji! While me and shimin were wracking our brains, she solved them easily. She even said THIS IS SO EASY! hahahah! horrible jiyeon! hahaha! then after an hr of utter misery, remedial ended! So there i was eating my pocky sticks at 4.40pm for lunch ):

Today was the first time i lost my apetite over a class.

Biology class was the first ever time i didn't feel like eating lunch after class. i actually felt very BLEAH.

Haha, okay well the day started off okay though. I ran 1.8 km in the morning :D then did pushups, sit ups and pullups! whoo! haha, then off to class. hmm, nothing much happened. UNTIL BIO.

Well, we're learning about sexual reproduction in animals. So well, mr tang showed us a picture of a placenta. More specifically, his son's placenta. not a pretty sight at all.

Then he went on to describe the birth of his son and the events that took place before that. How the cervix expanded to 1.5 cm, then to 10 cm plusminus, AND THE WORSE IT WAS STILL NOT BIG ENOUGH for the baby to come out. and guess what the doctor did!? SHE JUST TOOK A SCISSORS AND CUT down there. she just CUT. like using a pair of scissors to cut paper. JUST LIKE THAT.

By that time, our whole class had eyes the size of saucers. O.O we were practically squirming in shock and some were even clapping their hands over the ears.

And then he told us about Silent Scream, some video about abortion. How the baby's heartbeat actually increases when it's about to be killed and all. And how the baby's quietly screaming as it's killed. That was what made me feel sick actually. The gruesome details of birth was bad but bearable. This really made me feel nauseous. Can you imagine if you were that baby? If somehow your parents aborted you, and you're be killed just like that...

I went home, and i watched it. Silent Scream. Skipped the boring part where the host just yaks. And then i saw it. goodness, you could actually see the mouth of the baby being open as it was being killed. And when the metal instrument was inserted into the uterus, you could see the baby kicking and squirming violently. Trying to get away from it. It was so sad! ): Then omg, the metal thing just stabbed the water bag. THEN AFTER JUST STAB THE FOETUS. LIKE SERIOUSLY STAB. then it gets sucked out via some suction pump as remains. With only the head left floating in the womb.

I actually felt sick again after i watched it.

I think our whole class is now convinced to never get pregnant. Some are now adamant that they'll never even get married. And now, i'm seriously traumatised by it. haha i think i'll never get pregnant too. I think mothers are very noble. How they withstood with all that pain is beyond my comprehension.

It's bio lessons like this that contributes to the declining birth rate in s'pore! >.<

Today was Honours Day! okay not that it matters much to me since i'm not getting a prize. quite obviously (:

So woke up early and wore contacts today! whoo! haha, i spent 20 minutes trying to put it in. and bottom line is. IT'S NOT EASY TO PUT IT IN.

Then after that went to school, band room and yeah. Then me and the brasses went to the hall to play the fanfare. HMM, i hope i conducted well! i tend to be unstable at times! hmmm. i really admire conductors. how do they conduct for such long periods of time without feeling their arms aching!? they have my respect :D

Anyway, after that play school song and then RECEPTION. the food was GOOD. haha, i ate like some pig (: i sat with the tubists. awww, only clarinettist with the tubist. hahaha, TUBIST ARE LOVELY PEOPLE. SWEET PEOPLE. HAHAHA!

After band, after my auditions, me and chuying rushed down to ulu pandan cc to watch yunzhu's performance! chuchu wear until pretty pretty and so did i :D haha

We were late though. i swear ulu pandan cc is so far! hahaha, anyway we were late :D thank gdness we could still get seats! anyway watched the performance. the aircon was so freaking cold though! i think my blood froze! hahaha, me and chuchu were just freezing our bumbums off. the show was good though. but we didn't get some parts. some too soft. some were just way too abstract for us.

went home. took out contacts. my maid was so intrigued by the sight of me hopelessly trying to pinch off my contacts -.- haha, gawd. my eyes were so freaking dry. I AM NEVER GOING TO WEAR CONTACTS FOR SUCH A LONG PERIOD OF TIME! even though i love having perfect vision. first time in 8 years (: i kept trying to push up my 'spectacles' today though!

gahhh! i want to go shopping and buy shoes :D no handbags? i can live with that. No buying of shoes? i can't live with that. AH!

It's friday again! whoo!

A long week has passed.

I miss sec 4 self-awareness camp! haha! it was through the camp i really learnt more about my classmates and finally had a peep behind their faces. haha, i didn't mean that literally but yeah. it helped us to bond a lot more.

Gawd, we had 6 hours of sharing. it really helped to open e class up. But it was quite tiring though.

After showering, we talked. hahaha, a bunch of us talked for 3 hrs! from 12am to 3am! then slept for 3 hrs then had another day of camp and all. then after camp some of us went pizza hut! whoo! hahaha, okay, i cut short the whole story!

School is rather busy. i've been enjoying bio lessons though. hahaha! it's quite fun these days.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Today was an eventful day (:

Went for band as usual, then had woodwind sectionals, Combined practice and yeah. LOVE THE BREAD PLASTIC BAG EXERCISE :D I AM GOING TO MASTER IT!

Thank you everyone for the gifts and all. love the balloon dawnie :D love the chocolates from my section! you people are going to make me gain weight man! thank you to all e rest who gave me gifts too!

Then after that we went to Andrea's house for a VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY! to celebrate and embrace singlehood! As Eliza, Baohong, Averil, Yanru, Karen and me walked to the mrt we laughed, laughed and laughed. hahaha! it was damn funny! eliza and baohong kept kicking people's bags -.- Averil was simply hilarious. hahah! i laughed till my back hurt like crap

Went on to amk hub, took the shuttle bus to andrea's house. HER HOUSE IS HUGE. HUGE. HUGE. hahaha! very pretty though. Anyway, went there and played wii! gawd i keep losing ): hahaha i'm always at the bottom or the bottom few after each race ): HAHA, the curse of the wii remote control!

Then we went to waddle in her pool, played with her dog (so adorable i swear but needs a shower), fiddled with andrea's lovely grand piano. Averil was super scared of the dog though! hahaha, her dog, rocky, let me shake his paw (: awwww

Highlight of the day:

Then we went on to watch House Of Wax. One word: scary.

Then later some people left, and the rest of us watched the rest of the movie. Averil cried from it! hahaha! it was really very scary.

Then after that, danielle, andrea, averil, valerie, baohong, yanru and me went to play American Idol. hahaha! WE CAN SING. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THAT CLARINETTIST HAVE LOVELY VOICES!

Thereafter we ate pizza! it was so spicy >.<>

After that i went home. haha, i was damn exhausted! >.<

But today i can safely say was my most eventful valentine's day.

Today was really a bad day.

Chinese new year is almost over ):

It has come and gone as swiftly as a bird. Time really flies. I still remember how sec 3 life was. Gah. i'm feeling melancholic.

I found First Suite In Eflat by Gustav Holst online. And as i was listening to it, I was reminded of how we massacred it the first time we sight-read it. It brings back fond memories. Even though we sight-read it TERRIBLY. But yeah, it reminds me of my band life as a nooooobody. And i kind of miss being a normal band member.

I miss the times i was stress-free. haha, ohwell, with the years i pass, the burden gets heavier. But well, i get stronger too (:

Today had band from 8-1pm. I swear i'm getting old, i set my alarm at 6.30. It rang all the way from 6.30 to 7.30! and i didn't wake up! and i didn't even know it rang! thank gdness my maid woke me up! >.<

Had woodwind sections. And well, it was actually quite disappointing. I mean, the woodwinds were okay lah, but it was quite sad to see some people unable to play. Even at this point. And i really don't know what to do. So yeah, I see juniors better than seniors. And it's disconcerting and makes me uneasy and worried. Why can't everyone just put in a little more effort...? is it so hard?

Anyway, had band prac with Sir. Haha, i sat up straight in my chair with my feet flat. But, i actually clamped my knees together, with my feet apart. So my legs made this inverted V shape. Haha, so right, it's an unconscious movement of mine. So while during overture no. 1, mr tan suddenly says something to me whilst conducting the band. As the only 1st clarinet one, and i had just finished the running notes part, i thought he said something like, zuo de hao! or too loud! Instead, he said, sit properly in chinese! hahah! he said i sat like dingdang or smth (forgot). haha, i seriously didn't know we cldn't sit like that. Can you imagine for concert, we wear our band uniform and then we sit with our legs open. SKIRTS with LEGS OPEN. NOT A PRETTY SIGHT. i have to master e art of sitting with my legs apart and playing. Somehow as i play, my knees just clamp together unconsciously. gah.

After band, had lunch with dawn and liana. Then i self-practed and fooled around in the band room until 4. Played the clarinet concerto with kimberly (: practiced A of die fledermaus, played e piano for fun. haha, liana taught me a new song! Played a bit of overture. And played around with the metronome and gossiped with chuchu and grace (:

Haha, highlight of the day! haha, averil slapped kimberly! hahahah! kimberly called averil and baby and there you go :D awww, my juniors are so amusing.

I lost my bottle though. I swear i have no idea where i put it! i was searching all over ): this sucks man! haha, ohwell.

I shld buy like 5 bottles for myself on my bdae. haha, for spares.

I swear i'm ageing.

Haha, when we left at 4, the staircases were all locked up. The gate was almost closed. It was quite terrifying actually. The thought of being locked in school! So we took the lift down, and then quickly left school.

Well, i woke up early today to go to my grandma's house to eat noodles. i almost couldn't wake up! i stayed up late chatting online :D whoops. haha, anyway. It's this tradition that has been around for eons. So yeah, ate noodles, then went on to play upword :D it wa

s quite fun! We had a lot of weird words popping out. Bleat became bleet.

haha, anyway, after that we went on to play black jack! it was fun! i didn't win anything actually. The largest bet one could place was 2 dollars and the smallest 50 cents. Yeap, my cards were shitty though. kept losing man! My cousin got 4 blackjacks! >.<>

After taking photos and all, went onto my maternal uncle's house. Ate, watch tv and lazed around. haha, the highlight was collecting angpow! watch moulin rouge there... ): so sad ): haha, the songs are so romantic though! COME WHAT MAY!!!

Happy chinese new year's eve everyone!

I haven't been updating this blog for gdness knows how long. been going crazy over the multiple activities and mountains of hw. CCA orientation, Band stuff, HOMEWORK, tests, Learning journey, blahblah.

So, i shall take the time from our short short short cny holiday to post something up.

YESTERDAY, me and yunzhu went out! haha, we dressed up really nicely and went out to go shopping. I wore an off-shoulder shirt with jeans and heels. Yunzhu wear prettypretty, haha, a halter and jeans and also heels.

HEELS was NOT a smart choice when shopping! haha, by the end of the day it was so painful we had to sit down. And i started walking in a super sloppish way. haha! I looked horrible walking. We were practically complaining as we walked. I don't get how people can just walk the whole day in them and not feel e pain man. Heels are gorgeous tools of torture.

In the end, we didn't buy anything much actually. We went to some shops, didn't see much then just walkwalk. I was looking for that tomato bag i saw the last time but i couldn't find the shop ): Yunzhu bought a baggie :D

haha, that zhu ah, put make up :D haha, it was nice looking but she was a vain-pot. keep retouching up. -.- until her eye pain. haha, noob!

After that, we went our separate ways. I went home for reunion dinner and she went for hers too. despite hating yusheng, the rest of the dinner was good. Somehow, i'm weird, i hate yusheng. Only like e gold crackers. haha, after dinner, watched some video show on axn. Haha, had a ball of a time (: laughing my head off with my cousins and relatives :D

Well, it was a tiring day. but one well spent.

The day came way too soon. Faster than i expected.

Today was Sir's last practice with us. I feel sad and nostalgic just thinking about it. Just looking at e photos during e party makes me feel really sad. Gah.

I can't believe it came. It seemed like this day wouldn't come ):

Anyway, we started off with practise with Overture no. 1. Sir was really very sweet. He was telling us what to do, when he's not there. What to do to make it better. It's like he's preparing us. For the future. He was like joking and all. And in my mind i was just thinking, he's not going to do this anymore, this is the last time he's going to say it.

I think band will be different now.

But i still welcome the new conductor too (: Mr C. Tan!

Anyway, after overture, we played Dona Nobis Pacem. Even though it wasn't very good, i mean not as good as beijing, but i could feel e feelings in it. I had goosebumps. And I think Sir felt it. That's the most important (:

After that, it was basically party time! and basically photo taking time!

haha, i went home with loads of photos. Esp of Clare acting cute -.- i swear tuba players act cute! hahaha! I took loads of photos and ate loads of pizza. I think i'm growing fat. haha, whoops.

We stood around, talked, screamed our heads off and took photos. We watched e video of our concert. And we basically sang Thank You For The Music together. haha, much laugher ensued. Wait. was it singing or screaming? haha, singing IJ STYLE.

After e fun and all, guess what? comm members clean up -.- haha, we had to take out all e decorations we painfully put up. haha, had to clear up e balloons and all e food. haha, tried to give e LEFTOVER CAKE to mr chan as it was his bdae the day before. haha, we sang for him a birthday song but he refused our cake -.- haha!

Haha, after clearing up, fellow comm was going mad. haha, HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME. HAHA, WE KEPT SINGING. haha! and the dancing! hahaha! omg, i'll remember this day for life (: haha!

Christmas is over too soon ): haha, i spent it in the most amusing way the day before. haha, i guess i could say it was one of my more eventful christmas!

e a lot of noise ): haha, i really didn't mean to make so muchnoise during their prayers! i always find out too late that it's a prayer -.- either dawn will ask me to shut up or christabelle will. haha, whoopsy daisy. And then if i tried to keep quiet, my phlegmirritates me and i cough.

Then after we had lunch there! The amount of food they gave was scary. Quintus ate two PILED HIGH plates. Gah. it's unfair that he's lighter than me man! Unjust. Ohright, so yeah, then we went back after that. Louis and Christabelle kept playing with my hoodie -.- made my hair so messy lah. Then Zhenxi kept poking fun at my size -.- noobity noob.

Went home, TIDIED MY HAIR and went out with my sister (:

Pepper lunch for dinner and then we just went around shopping. bought earrings and a ring. haha, then just took loads or photos!

Hello! haha, went to e beach todayyy! east coast park again. With e caroling people (: jinjun, kimberly, dawnie, cat high people and christabelle and roxanne (: haha, ohwell. woke up early and met them at toa payoh. haha, um. i was late, but rather early too :D haha, okay, then went to eat 2 hashbrowns then took e bus to ecp. Long, long ride but it was quite fun i guess. started talking about random stuff on e bus -.- higher chinese and other weird stuff.

Okay, got there, camwhored. then lazed around waiting for dawn, louis and zhenxi. so me, roxanne and christabelle sat under their umbrellas and just talked and exchanged music! Seventh Night of July (: lovelove. okay, then when darling dawnie came we went into e sea! haha, e water was super cold and nice. haha, refreshing. went in. got wet. yeap. haha, stupid me, wore a WHITE shirt and a BLUE bra, not very smart. but anyway, we waddled around. got sand on each other. screamed and threw sandballs around. poor zhenxi lost his glasses. ohwell. people got my lovely hair wet ): hair started to curl like a pile of worms. yucks. anyway i looked like crap :D haha, but it was fun. whee.

then guess what? it rained. haha, so we ranranran back to get our stuff cos we walked all around so yeah. Gah. all wet and all. haha, then take more photos. after getting changed and dry, we went cycling. Cycled all the way to Area G, near e bedok getty. it was really pretty. haha, loved e sea breeze and all. It was really nice and refreshing. Kind of helped me clear my mind and forget some of my psychological burdens. The wind blowing in my unkempt hair, the lovely sparkle of the sea, the boats in e distance, the soft sand beneath my feet. Yeah, nice.

haha, then after that we went on to have dinner. haha, dawn tried the exothermic reaction thing on quintus but it didn't work. haha, i think i'm e only one that is dumb to fall for it -.- haha, ohwell. yeah, then after that we took bus to dhoby ghaut. haha, talked to roslyn, wanying and phyllis on e way. wheee. made a lot of noise on e bus (: haha, i missed you rosros :D haha, band comm'07/08

anyway, went on to vivo to watch a little bit of e caroling. we cheered and made alot of noise. haha, whoops? i took a lot of photos! haha, esp of jinjun and zhenxi. so sweet of me eh :D haha, okay, then we celebrated christabelle's birthday! we bought her a cake from breadtalk. then when we asked a little girl where she got her balloon, she sweetly gave it to us :D so nice. haha, dawn drew on it. haha, adorable. haha, sang a bdae song for her, gave e cake, forced her to make a wish on an unlit candle. yeap. haha, then went home. Reflected on some stuff on e way home. Cleared my brain out. I think i know what to do now.

i hate fevers.

On saturday, i got a fever! T.T it was 39.4 degrees when i went to the doctor. Was quite scary. i thought i was going to burn off my brain cells o.O it was horrible. my head was throbbing like mad. Ugh. horrible. Went to e doctor and came back with loads of medicines! so scary. all tablets! T.T

So basically i have been sleeping e whole day, trying to get well. Sigh, i missed sir's last practice! heartbreak. i wanted to go but my mum said cannot ): sigh. stupid cough and fever. i lost my voice too. my sweet voice is reduced to a croak. T.T

gah. well.. at least my fever is gone now :D i hope i won't get sick again! caroling! wheeee.

i'm having my time of the month. haha, no wonder i was so moody yesterday. thank you all for cheering me up! tsk. jinjun you went online so late last nite! i was gg to pour my sorrows to you! haha, ohwell. but i'm feeling better now. but if you all do it again i'll bbq all of you and have you for dinner. :) sounds nice?

haha, had leadership camp today! Our objective was to write a proposal about a tour package for a family of four. So yeah, we had to consider the family's age group blahblah, then choose places. We even had a budget to set and all. We were all split up into different groups, according to our punctuality. so well, i was super early cos my handsome dad sent me to school, so i was in RAFFLES HOTEL. haha, with elizabeth tan, elizabeth (sec 2), eugenia, clara tee, amanda (sec 1), cui lin, crystal, swee teng, cheryl woon. did i miss out anyone? anyway, genevieve was our MANAGER. haha, at first all of us were a little dead and zombie-ish cos we were all super tired and all. but after that we warmed up to each other and it got quite fun :)

So after writing our proposal, we had to present it in a formal mock meeting thing. we couldn't laugh, talk or even giggle. we could only whisper or pass notes. If not, meldee who was e DIRECTOR, would press e bell and go "Dingding! Laughing/talking is not in order!" or she'll go "Dingding! will hotel blahblah behave yourself" that kind of thing. haha, so when something funny happen we just had to stifle our laughter and all. It was quite funny passing notes arnd and all. And certain groups were super aggressive in their questions and all. rather amusing.

haha, anyway, overall it was really fun and all (: go raffles! even though we didn't win, i had fun. despite e sleepiness at times.

On a worried note, I think i'm getting sick again. i have a bad feeling my cough is coming back..... My windpipe hurts slightly when i breathe in deeply. too much chocolate?

It was a gloomy day today.

haha, okay, fine, it started out quite sunny and all. Went out earlyearly to Novena to go make comm shirt and almost got lost :D thankfully i somehow found my way.

then after, went to eat oishi sushi! haha, super yummy!

after that, went on to go bishan and watch Madagascar 2 with the Majors. Um. yeah. haha, i shall not elaborate more. Got quite irritated. haha, tsk. Those who went ought to know. haha, but i still love you dawnie :) you all can just buy me icecream

So i left after e movie to go shopping with my mummy! haha, went to buy shoes! Birkenstock. super comfy and all. Then i went to nourish my highly depressed soul with icecream. And i feel that Ben and Jerry's have the nicest chocolate icecream! So rich and dense. like eating chocolate cake. We ordered 3 scoops. Coffee, some chocolate thing, and some thing with EVEN MORE chocolate. And the sauce was CHOCOLATE fudge. haha, the topping was CHOCOLATE sprinkles. haha! I'm becoming a chocoholic :) but it was lovely. and really lifted my spirits up :D

then after we went to a CD shop :) it was That CD shop. and guess what? i bought joe hisaishi's album! haha, super happy and all. haha, kind of makes me want to play e piano :) quintus, you must go learn and play for me!

Concert is over! It feel rather surreal. so strange not to have band anymore. Well. it was a success! even though there were mistakes, let's move on and work towards our next goal! SYF'09!

Anyway, concert was great! loved working with St. Margs and Catholic High. Their bands are really good (: we have a lot to learn from them! My favourite piece was Golden Jubilee Overture. Didn't really get to hear St. Margs cos we were outside waiting, but i heard from ppl that their Jerico was lovely :D

i was quite sad though. when i saw sir tear up and all. i can't believe time passes so quickly. my parents said the video was good and all. my mummy said she was going to cry at e end. T.T i think i'll miss mr tan! i can't imagine band without him.

i loved thank you for the music! even though i didn't get to play, singing along was really fun. It's especially memorable with mr tan. I think i won't forget it. haha, I made a lot of noise though. I saw certain people from nco staring at me with weird looks! haha! am i so scary? NO right! haha

on a happy note, jinjun said i had a beautiful smile! :D haha, made my day brighter! haha!

haha, my mummy said that i sounded confident on saturday? did i? my hands were shaking very badly. haha, i'm glad i looked pro (:

ohyes, 29th nov, concert day was... BAOHONG'S birthday! happy birthday ah bao! you're one year older.... but i doubt you're act like it. but anyway :D haha, happy birthday!

Band Camp'08 is over! haha, it was fun and all. but finally, in some sense, i can breathe a sigh of relief. haha, overall not much hiccups but some here and there. after experiencing all this, i feel that last year's committee were like superheroes :)

haha, it was fun though. i loved scaring people during the nightwalk! haha, me, kelly, liana were in one classroom. We open & closed the windows while baohong, eliza and gang were outside. They screamed and ran all the way down the corridoor >.<

haha, anyway, today i went with the cat high and st margs ppl and dawnie to the salvation army place to tune-in for the christmas carolling! haha, it was quite fun. my sight-reading sucks tho. probably played tons of wrong notes! hohoho! before going there we went to burger king and bought a KIDS MEAL :D couldn't eat finish :D so we gave it to the rest. hohoho!

i think i need stress management classes :) i'm too stressed.

i broke down today. was quite miserable. all the stress that was bottled in me just simply overflowed and burst out. rah. i look horrid when i cry. puffy red eyes and nose. it was swollen after. ohwell. It just seems that everything that is happening is falling apart. And it's my fault. I dunno. I feel incapable. I feel useless. I feel like i don't deserve to be here. I dunno if i'm doing the right thing. Sometimes i wonder why i was the one chosen. I feel lost. Like in a haze of smog. Blindly walking forward.

Thank you dawn, chuying, catherine, shimin & liana for comforting me! :) you made my rainy day brighter :D

I just wish it wasn't so hard. I wish that things would just fall into place nicely. Why do others make it seem so easy? But yet, it feels so difficult for me.

today was dreary. haha, well. auditions again :) well. haha, i think i can almost memorise parts of the songs already! haha, all the senior comm members were so bored that we had to find stuff to humour ourselves. we took pictures, we danced, we sang. haha, and we ate cupcakes :D even though i have a horrible cough with loads of phlegm, i ate 3! haha, i think i won't be getting well anytime soon :) haha, during our lunch break, monica played some piano piece called Forbidden Love. haha, so while she was playing, we were all fiddling with the keyboard :D haha, we kept changing the key, and changing the instrument. haha! the piece was completely unrecognizable :D hohoho. i think she got quite irritated with us!

i can't believe it's over. nco is over! it feels super surreal! i miss ncoooo! i don't mind being sunburnt again :)

yesterday, was fun. the last day of nco camp. the performance was absolutely fabulous! even though we couldn't really be seen by the audience, we enjoyed ourselves! i definitely won't forget this! <3

Before the performance, we had 2 hours to prepare :D haha, but then i only took like half and hr to change and all -.-lll so anyway, we ended up running around, getting everyone to write on the autograph page, exchanging contacts, taking photos and all! it was absolutely mad. haha, our section was playing the pianoooo! haha, then still got duet! clarinet duet! haha, final fantasy duet!

i took so many photos! :D saw roslyn, clarise, alyssa tan, cherie bay, liana, kelly, chuying, shimin, lynette, rachel, kimberly, cherie chia, natalie, serena, yanru and my mummy & daddy! haha, did i miss anyone out? thank you all for coming! and the lovely flowers! i received compliments for the flowers :) some random nco band major said to me, "wow. nice flowers"! thank you all! haha, i love the bouquet! first time get! hohoho!

anyway, after the performance, after loads of hugs, me, ezzul, jodie, meliza and syazwan went to macs and king albert park and ate. yeap, then just talktalk, then went home, and slpt :D was so tired.

sigh. one week just like that. it's so fastttt! let's have an outing soon nco people!

i'm sunburnt. T.T badly burnt. like a boiled lobster. well, what can i expect for FOUR hours in the sun :)

haha, anyway, nco was fun today. We had a lecture by mr tan today :D alessio drew this

ting on my booklet! haha, he was drawing on everyone's bklet then when mr tan walked over he pretend to be writing his reflection! haha! so funny! :) after that, we had our sectional presentation :D haha, all the sections did really well and all. Then we played in the music studio in the aircon, before going to the field to rehearse with the drum major. to our horror, it was muddy. the poor DMs had been marching in mud. anyway, yes, it was gross. haha, and i even fell on my arse on the stairs. slippery. maluuu!

okay, anyway, my lovely NEW shoes, are muddy and gross now. T.T haha, camwhored the whole day and kept singing songs and all! we were all super hyper and all! kept singing HSM! :):):) haha, me & syazwan did a 'duet' on everyday :D haha, i'm gabriella :D EVERYDAYYYY~ haha, and the burning up! :D haha, ezzul kept me entertained with burning upppp! :D

today, i really felt bonded to the nco people. tomorrow is the last day. T.T i think i'll miss everyone! <3

i sleptwalk. believe it or not. i was sleepwalking.

haha, last night, for some strange reason, i found myself in my sister's room, and on her bed. haha, then i walked to my own room and went back to bed. i have absolutely no recollection of what happened, how i walked down and what happened. scary eh.

haha, my sister and my maid told me that i went to the room at 3 and kept hitting my sister's butt and trying to kick her off the bed. haha, i wanted to sleep in her bed. weird right!? i don't remember anything! it's scary. haha, i think i'm too exhausted. planning band camp, nco, chinese symposium, Os. so tiring. but it's gd that now some are overrrr! haha

nco camp was funnn! haha, i think it's funner than the precamp training :D haha, it's quite sad thought. unlike the drum major course, the band major course doesn't really give us a chance to interact much. it's mostly playing, so we end up in our sections half the time. but still it was funnnn! made many new friends and all :) games were fun. i found someone going for the master class toooo! :D yay! so i won't go aloneeeee! :D:D:D

haha, well. Os were today. haha, well. i hope i did well. i shall wish for the best.

you irritate me like hell. go away. when we part, i'll miss the rest, but definitely not you. don't you dare look down upon me, don't give me that attitude like i'm not worth your time. you should be glad i'm even talking to you. i'm so much better than you. i can't stand your arrogance.

a brass instrument can sound like a woodwind :D

haha, yes, i found that out yesterday. Well, of course, not totally like a woodwind, but it can be as soft and round like one. I went with the band to Boston Brass concert at NUS yesterday. OMGawd, the brass tone was like chocolate. MOLTEN CHOCOLATE. so RICH. so SOFT. haha, as brown as chocolate! so nice~ i have NEVER heard such nice playing. the ensembles sounded like CDs. so in tune and all! amazing. i wish there were some woodwinds though... T.T i liked hearing the ring, the echo in the hall after the last chord.

haha, anyway, during intermission, me and shimin and some other people (forgot (: ) went to try out the instruments! haha, jupiter instruments had some sort of display of instruments and all! i tried e trumpet, e flute! haha, wanted to try the clarinet but didn't have reeds!! T.T haha, i can play the trumpet :D the flute was quite a failure though. ended up just spitting into the flute. hohoho!

haha, after intermission, went back in, blahblah. nice music. but it was too lullaby-ish. haha, so i fell asleep for like half an hour? haha, whoopsy. but the group that really won the crowd over was obviously the BOSTON BRASS! they were wonderful! they were funny, exiting and had great showmanship! haha, i love their playing. but there were so loud, air capacity was great. i was covering my ears at some points :D it's not bad music just that it was a small confined hall and all.

saw so many people there. saw jodie, and some other people who looked familiar, i THINK i saw them at nco. but i really can't remember. but it was a good concert!

on the way back, and we just gossiped and made a lot of noise on the way back. dawn mocked my laughter. TSK. haha, jkjk.

Today 3/1 had class outing! haha, there was about.... 20-30 people? haha, it was fun, fun, fun :D i woke up superduper early today, just to make 20 rolls of sushi :) haha, unlike some people (coughcough, grace, coughcough) anyway, then went down to newton mrt, blahblah, walked to ACS barker, then playplay, then eateat :) it was fun though! haha, loads of pole-dancing and games and all. yeapyeap. Mr tang's son is so adorable! :D so cute! kawaii neh! haha, a lot of us think that he resembles mr tang :) omgawd tho, i ate so much. tsk. stupid me. haha, i will grow fat. :D

haha, class outing, me, chu, chia went to..... east coast park! haha, the sand and beach was gorgeous! at first i was super tired, almost fell asleep on the way there, but seeing it, i drew POSITIVE ENERGY from it and was ENERGIZED! haha! we lie around, take loads of photos, play sand-castle, walk in the sea. very nice :D so long never go to the beach. for my honeymoon next time i want to go to GOLD COAST and stand on the WHITE sandy beach! haha, i don't want east coast park. the sand is so dirty. got sand, GIANT ants, and even glass. haha, GOLD COAST. AUSTRALIAAAAA!

and guess what? it rained. haha, yes, after one hour, it rained. so anyway, we just walked around, then bought slippers! :D haha, and then we wanted to take a cab to parkway parade. but guess what?! we couldn't get a cab! rah. all those irritating people in front of us! haha, in the end we went to BK and then just sit down and eat.

then darling chuchu's parents fetch us to toa payoh :D haha, well. definitely a day i won't forget! i shall post all the photos another day :D

i'm exhausted from all the walking now. bleah.

i missed nco camp briefing! T.T haha, don't ask why. :) haha, ohwell. anyway i had to do project with chuying on friday :D haha, ended up talking about hairy legs and hairy arm pits :D haha! COUGHCOUGH BUSHBUSH! :D

haha, anyone want to do my surveyyyyyyy? haha, for the mother tongue symposium thing! 300 surveys! T.T quite worried. i dunno if i came finish it! rahhh! HELP ME DO!

band was fun today, played, played, and played :) haha, during comm meeting, shimin and catherine drew a smiley on my hands. rah! attack me with markers! tsktsk. haha, later i die. ONE DROP OF INK TAKES AWAY 10 SECONDS OF MY PRECIOUS LIFE. haha, and that was a lot of ink they put on me :)

i'm tired. it's exhausting. can you just do it yourself? must you rely on us all the time? isn't it high time you stand on your own feet? don't use me as a stepping stone anymore. it's tiring supporting you up.

WAHH. Today was boring. haha, had chinese, physics and english. WELL, chinese was just zuowen. boring. Physics was quite funny :D haha, yay to tuning forks! so cute eh! *hinthint* coughcough, can buy for me if you want :D i noe you want to buy for me :)

English was quite interesting. was watching some documentary/movie about high school shootings in america, however the video kept stalling. so in the end we just gave up :D ended up watching 'pay it forward' Great movie, but i watch before. so boring again.

discussed mother tongue symposium with qui li, darling puipui, and chuchu! haha, then later went for junior band. OMG. i was absolutely appalled by the sounds my juniors made. was it even a clarinet!? it was like... okay lah, they are still sec 1s. BUT..... haha :D

It was super boring though. i just sat there and stoned for abt 2 hours. Absolutely boring. Rah. if only seniors could play too! haha, the songs were absolutely defaced in those hours. but gambatte sec 1s!

WE CAN DO IT PEEPS. BAND CONCERT IS ON NOV 29TH. BUY FLOWERS FOR ME. :)

i'm tired. haha, had band today. then had sectionals till 4pm. We did alot though, good job clarinets! at this rate we'll sound good for concert :) haha, i hope we sound good! My last concert T.T haha, ohwell.

It's scary. As i stare at the calendar, the dates just seem to come closer and closer. O level's for mother tongue is near. Scarily near. I can't believe Sec 3 is ending! it seems just like yesterday i was choosing my combinations, struggling to cope with sec 3. And now we'll all going to be Sec 4, the oldest in the school. Seeing the empty space in the parade square behind the sec 3s where the sec 4s used to be, scares me. Soon we'll leave too.

You irritate me. you give me that attitude of yours. like you're better than me. like you know it all. but you don't. don't be arrogant. you have no reason to be.

yoyo! My first post after spending ages on the stupid blogskin :D haha, ohwell. on a happier note, i'm in love with 'One Litre Of Tears'! haha, my first drama that actually made me weep buckets! haha, i first time reach towards the tissue box! haha, cry until quite terrible. Looked quite ugly after that. Swollen eyes and RED nose. haha, my eyes were swollen for the WHOLE day after! haha, GO WATCH! :D:D:D
